About Me
Hi I'm Nina, an award-winning photographer based just outside Bristol, UK.
Pictures are powerful. They convey meaning and mood faster and better than words ever could. I've seen the impact they can have over my 20 year career as both a Photographer and Photo Editor, during which I have selected images for daily pages on the busy picture desk of The Times newspaper, I have art directed shoots and commissioned the world’s leading talent for brands such as Save The Children and The British Red Cross, and I have photographed extraordinary people across the UK and around the globe. Two factors always guide my work: my love of connecting with people, and my conviction that photography has a unique power to tell stories authentically.
My approach to photographing people is both relaxed and unobtrusive. I get to know a bit about you and your business or brand, and then we hang out, with my camera in my hand. Then I capture portraits with personality. In my more in-depth shoots, I use photos to tell the unique story and character of your business, resulting in a diverse set of images which can be used across your website, social media and all your marketing materials, truly bringing your business to life so that you can show your clients what you’re all about.
